Customer Engineer Manager

Applied Materials is recruiting its future Customer Engineer Manager (W/M) in permanent contract (CDI)

Reporting to the Customer Engineer Director in France, he / she will manage a multi-year maintenance service contract with our customer. The Customer Engineer Manager will manage the team composed of 25 people (RFT and contractors) working on maintenance activities at our customer's site (on CMP machines).

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Works on technical customer inquiries.
  • Completes on time all required management reporting for the area. Coordinates and plans the availability and workload of all employees in the area for the mid- term.
  • Maintain good customer relationships.
  • Knowledge and active support of business plan. Maintains regular communication with SBU, BU and Technical Support. Acts as focal point for all service-related issues in the area.
  • Schedules and leads regular meetings with customer's maintenance management to review performance of Applied Materials' equipment and support services.
  • Drives/ owns technical escalations, contract spending and improvement programs, responsible for financial forecast for his/her area.
  • Manages, coaches and directs all employees in his/her district.
  • Responsible for salary planning, career planning, corrective actions where necessary, establishes objectives and performance appraisals. Gives formal updates to all employees.
  • Provides Sales - and technical support.
  • Responsible for following departmental procedures to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of themselves and those around them who may be affected by their acts or omissions.

o Base salary over 13 months

o Transportation allowance of 500€/month
