The Automation Products Group (APG) at Applied Materials develops, sells, and deploys software solutions that automate the world's most advanced factories. Our industry-leading Applied SmartFactory® software portfolio is the premier platform for companies seeking to leverage Industry 4.0 principles to enhance quality, yield, cycle time, and output. We are the market leader in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) solutions for the semiconductor and high technology manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities
The Regional Account Manager is responsible for creating and implementing account plans and strategies to maximize revenue and profitable growth within the assigned accounts.
- The successful account manager draws from deep leadership, communication, and technical skills to identify high-value problems with customers and leads a virtual team of experts across multiple disciplines to craft and present innovative winning proposals to customers as part of often lengthy, complex sales cycles.

Role and Responsibilities
- Sell Semiconductor factory automation software and services to Semiconductor manufacturers in target region
- Negotiate prices and legal terms and conditions
- Work across customer organization to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders involved in enterprise software purchase decisions
- Client management and customer service
- Communicate industry trends, competitive information and customer feedback to appropriate internal organizations
Qualifications
- 7 to 12 years technical sales/account management experience in enterprise software
- Industry Experience: Software or service sales, within manufacturing, semiconductor industry experience preferred
- Location in Austin and Dallas preferred
- Fluent in business level English
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline preferred, including Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology. MBA preferred.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
