Our team is looking for a hands-on summer intern to help establish new and existing processes on Applied equipment. You will work closely with process engineers within a clean room and will develop, characterize and sustain processes on state-of-the-art semiconductor processing equipment.

This opportunity exposes chemistry, physics or material science majors to the complex and exciting world of microchip research and manufacturing. You will play a key role developing new processes for Applied's customers as well as researchers, gaining valuable experience in many aspects of nanotechnology used to fabricate novel devices.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to perform hands-on work within clean room facility.
  • Must be available for a minimum of 12 weeks this summer (prefer longer).
  • Must comply with all relevant Applied's and lthe lab's safety programs

Compensation

$29 - $31 per hour

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
