What You'll Do
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Support Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on experimental data analysis for an advanced semiconductor memory project in the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in semiconductor process development and contribute to cutting-edge research.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of experimental data related to semiconductor memory process development.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and execute experiments aimed at improving performance and reliability.
- Utilize statistical tools and software to analyze data and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Support the development and implementation of process improvements based on experimental results.
- Maintain accurate documentation of experiments, methodologies, and results.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, R).
- Basic understanding of semiconductor memory technology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with semiconductor fabrication and characterization techniques.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE).
- Previous internship or project experience in the semiconductor industry.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.
