Applied Materials' META Development Department is searching for an intern to join our Equipment Engineering Ramp team in summer 2025! The META Center is a devoted Research & Development Center completely unique of its kind within the Semi-Conductor industry. Due to its diverse business portfolio, globally branded product & service impact within the industry, and most importantly ever-changing cutting edge technology advancements Applied strives for year after year. - Assist with equipment scheduling and project plans
- Strategic planning parts & material ordering requirements, stocking strategy (Inventory Management).
- Support Supplier Management for key Materials & Parts organizations.
- Support Equipment engineering through procurement, shipping, and inventory functions.
- Lead & Drive tool upgrade projects.
- Support Tool install activities.
Requirements
- Student must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge in Finance preferred
- Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing preferred
- Mechanical engineering experience especially related to vacuum and precision device in a development or manufacturing environment preferred
- Quick learner
Compensation
$31 - 33 per hour
The rate offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
