Applied Materials' PPB at CTO office is searching for an to join our team in summer 2025! The position will entail the following:

  • Assist with inorganic, organic and polymer material/chemical screening, characterization and metrology work. Able to safely handle different chemicals.
  • Lead small development projects involving materials/chemical characterization, screening, QC
  • Conduct material/chemical testing and analysis
  • Keep detailed lab records
  • Support process engineers for material/chemical needs
  • Internship is on-site with a start date of May 19, 2025

Requirements

  • Student must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree program in Chemistry, material science, polymer science or a related field, with an expected graduation date between December, 2025 and June, 2026
  • Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
  • Experience in Materials Characterizations/analytical chemistry Preferred
  • Quick learner

Compensation

$33 - $36 per hour

The rate offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
