Applied Materials' VSU BU Implant is searching for an intern to join our team in Fall 2025! Working in our Quality Group as a product Quality engineering intern; the position will entail the following:

  • Support processing of defective material
  • Learning of SAP Integrated Business system
  • Will have opportunity to visit local suppliers with our Quality team
  • You will participate on cross functional teams in solving problems
  • You will be exposed to engineering groups and participate in small projects
  • You may if time permits tour a Semi-conductor fab
  • Internship dates: July 2025 - Dec 2025
  • On-site at Gloucester, MA location

Requirements

  • Student must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree program in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • Student must be in good academic standing at their university
  • Student should have strong interpersonal skills and feel comfortable being inquisitive and asking people questions
  • Organization, thirst for problem solving and communication skills a must

Compensation

$29-31 per hour

The rate offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
