We are marketers, strategists, creatives, producers and program managers whose role it is to help Apple Retail care for our customers and elevate our teams. We build insights, experiences and programs all in service of bringing together the very best of Apple to help us reach more people, grow our business, and enrich lives. In this Program Manager role, you will work in a range of capacities from supporting strategic planning, through portfolio management and governance, and down to managing programs including NPI Readiness. In addition, you will play a key role in the delivery of strategic programs with the ability to collaborate and influence effectively.

Description
We are looking for a Program Manager that embodies our culture, core values and compassion for others. You would work in a range of capacities from supporting strategic planning, through portfolio management, governance, and program managing multiple programs concurrently. Take a key role in the delivery of key programs which cut across multiple teams and functions. Provide stewardship to our programs across the full roadmap for the Retail organization, champions alignment cross-functionally, innovates to increase effectiveness and gains cross functional engagement from others teams in the organizations. Work in a range of capacities from managing portfolio reporting, training, and program management. Program manages critical aspects of the Retail planning, communication, and NPI program readiness and able to drive programs to successful completion. Prepare and present to senior leadership and highlight data patterns that could be useful for making critical business decisions. Provide frequent communication to project teams and key partners while raising potential issues or key decisions needed to ensure a smooth project delivery. Help with metrics and KPIs that will drive organizational effectiveness. Manage the dependencies across various areas of expertise within the Retail functions and with our cross functional partners.
- 10+ years of leading a cross functional portfolio of complex global programs
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams globally, balancing priorities and the business needs
- Experience driving rapid response for critical programs/crisis management
- Project, program and portfolio planning experience
- Experience initiating, managing and enhancing business processes and system infrastructure programs
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of leading a portfolio of global programs
- Experience navigating large, dynamic and complex organizations
- Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
- Deliver to the level that they can set standards, implement process improvements and lead cross functional teams
- Solid ability to positively influence people across all functional areas of an organization.
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal, written and presentation
- Demonstrable ability to personally deliver large scale initiatives quickly, with high levels of complexity
- Experience dealing with ambiguity and be able to navigate to influence change with organization agility
- Strong decision quality with experience in planning and organizing
- Builds bridges and cultivate relationships; comfortable being a key point of contact and subject matter authority
- Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment operating at both strategic and tactical levels
- History of crafting compelling, insightful presentations with great storytelling to influence Leadership decision making
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,300 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
