As the Worldwide Field Engineering (WWFE) Technical Programs Lead supporting the Enterprise Sales organization, you will take on global responsibility for establishing, managing, and guiding diverse initiatives across the global Field Engineering organization. This role involves working on technical programs, collaborating with various teams to drive operational efficiency, and spearheading customized, just-in-time projects. We work closely with the Worldwide Strategy organization, Industry, and Programs teams, as well as collaborate directly with product groups, marketing, and engineering leadership to advocate for the necessary resources. You will also support pivotal initiatives, enhance team processes, and develop metrics that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is not limited to the listed geo. International travel is required.

Description

In this role you will: Establish and lead global initiatives, ensuring they align with the strategic goals of the WW Field Engineering organization. Identify areas that would benefit from a more programmatic approach, create actionable plans, and drive adoption across global teams. Support large-scale program efforts by leading and collaborating with engineering, sales, and extended teams to ensure successful outcomes. Collaborate with Worldwide technical and sales leaders to deliver on the strategic objectives of the U.S. Enterprise sales organization. Work closely with product groups, marketing teams, and engineering leadership to influence roadmaps and gain advocacy for programmatic efforts. Represent the WW Field Engineering Leader in meetings and discussions, advocating for the organization's interests and initiatives. Support the Worldwide Field Engineering leader in initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency across global teams. Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to provide insights into the impact of Field Engineering activities, enabling performance improvement. Implement standard processes for tools and services to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness globally. Deliver special projects initiated by senior leadership, demonstrating tenacity and the ability to navigate unstructured challenges without established playbooks. Support the successful delivery of initiatives that may involve working on non-disclosed products, maintaining close collaboration with diverse collaborators. Lead or partner with teams to create programmatic approaches for global initiatives. Collaboration with AppleCare, Services, SWE Product & Program Requirements. Act as a liaison between the team and other departments, helping resolve conflicts and driving advocacy for the team's initiatives. Provide insights, innovation, and recommendations to improve team performance, leadership strategies, and customer engagement approaches.
  • Technical & Program Management Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Approximately 10+ years of experience in technical program management or similar roles in the enterprise technology sector.
  • Familiarity with content management platforms, knowledge-sharing tools, and project management software.
  • Extensive experience in the enterprise technology sector, with a deep understanding of the B2B sales landscape and enterprise product offerings.
  • Validated experience in technical program management, including successfully leading initiatives with global reach and high strategic importance.
  • Familiarity with Apple's ecosystem and a strong understanding of cloud, enterprise software, and IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Ability to engage, influence, and collaborate across cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, field engineering, and leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using business intelligence tools to create impactful reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to identify operational bottlenecks and implement streamlined processes to enhance team efficiency.
  • Experience implementing and promoting standard methodologies to drive team and project success.
  • Ability to operate independently, often working on projects without an established playbook, and the persistence to find paths to success.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Chief of Staff or similar role supporting senior executives, ideally in a technical field.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment, with a track record of driving global initiatives while leading diverse partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear and understandable concepts for both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Effective presentation and writing capabilities, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to advocate and influence across the organization, gaining support for customized programmatic initiatives.
  • Shown ability to handle non-disclosed products and services with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
