Description
In this role, you will design and implement advanced eSIM, cellular, and telephony features for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, collaborating with Apple's design studio to create intuitive user interfaces. You will oversee the full software lifecycle, from concept to deployment, and work with cellular carriers, security, privacy, hardware, and qualification teams to optimize protocols and user interfaces for eSIM and telephony solutions. You will also patent these solutions to protect Apple intellectual property.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in software development using C/C++
- Strong proven background and experience in real-time operating systems and multi-threaded software environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Cellular/ eSIM/ Telephony/ WiFi technology will be a plus
- Passionate, curious, and always seeking innovative ways to solve real-world problems.
- Experience building reliable and robust software systems using secure programming fundamentals.
- Upbeat, adaptable, with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excel in collaborative environments with excellent interpersonal skills for working across cross-functional teams.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
