Description
Product RF Design Engineers should have a broad-based knowledge in RF architecture, design, integration and manufacturing. They have deep theoretical and practical knowledge in one or The job role will entail wireless performance research focused on understanding how various factors like antenna performance, placement, SAR, user interaction with device, channel conditions, co-ex and interference will impact the wireless performance and in turn user experience. You will use these findings to work with cross-functional teams to help drive antenna and system level design and architecture changes. Responsibilities include: Antenna performance characterization: TRP, TIS, Efficiency, SAR System performance characterization: Through-put testing, understanding and optimizing RF/Wireless algorithms and debugging test setups Collaborating closely with product teams and other stakeholders to drive performance enhancements Analyzing large data sets, visualizing them and drawing conclusions
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Telecommunication Engineering
- 3+ years industry work experience on antennas and system level wireless validation
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience related to SAR compliance testing
- Field performance testing of devices
- Experience working with network drops and packet debug
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
