Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative software development engineer to join our wireless software development team. We invite you to come and join us in developing wireless architecture and solution for satellite communications. The candidate should be passionate about crafting new products with meaningful and disruptive impact to the world, while navigating ambiguity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in developing network protocol stacks based on OSI model
  • Preferred programming skills are C, C++, Objective C, Swift
  • Experience with multi thread programming and strong knowledge of Operating Systems desired
  • Experience with writing software involving user space, kernel space interaction desired
  • Non-blocking, asynchronous interface coding experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clear and concise communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Comfortable at developing middle-ware software in OS daemons and interaction with drivers
  • Experience in iOS development is a plus
  • Experience in wireless protocol like BT/WiFi/Cellular is preferable
  • Passion for product quality and attention to detail
  • Thrives on open-ended problems and is self-driven
  • Passionate and inquisitive, and seeks to tackle problems in innovative ways

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
