If you have some experience in Bluetooth with great systems knowledge and a passion for debugging, we may have the job for you. The Core Bluetooth team is looking for a passionate software engineer to deep dive complex Bluetooth issues. As a member of the Bluetooth SW team, you will use your knowledge of Bluetooth protocols, features and related tools, validation, and problem-solving in order to drive issues to resolution. The role requires direct interface with external vendors, managing code release databases and monitoring regressions.

Description
You will be challenged with unique problems. The ideal person for this role is a passionate Software Engineer looking to work with a deeply technical team. You will work as part of a talented and diverse team to ensure quick resolution of bugs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Functional, Performance or Stability Testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding and working knowledge of Bluetooth protocols preferred
- Experience working with wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers preferred
- Enjoy hands-on debug and problem-solving
- Patient and disciplined problem-solving skills in the face of partial data
- Preferable C++, C and Python experience
- Repository management and structure experience (GIT familiarity preferred)
- Self-motivated and dedicated with critical thinking capabilities
- Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while authoritatively driving multiple issues across many teams
- Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to pursue everyday problems in innovative ways
- Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $204,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
