Description
The Web Development Manager responsibilities include ensuring that our team collaborates effectively with AppleCare instructional designers and content stakeholders to create rich, engaging, clear, and concise interactive solutions for thousands of support Advisors. Your background should include producing and managing the development of modern web solutions using interactivity, audio, video, visual and information design, and sound user-experience principles. This role is accountable for driving the team's business strategy and technical direction. This Manager is expected to effectively manage resources to improve efficiency and to partner with other business leaders to support multiple organizational goals. Key responsibilities of this role include: Assessing, motivating, and guiding overall team performance to ensure that plans align with organizational goals Conducting regular one-on-one meetings and development discussions with team members; understanding team members' career goals and partnering with them to support their development plans Managing interactive web solutions from inception to completion Consulting with business partners to provide innovative solutions that address identified strategic challenges Preparing and delivering presentations to senior leaders about the effectiveness and outcomes of your projects and programs Creating and/or supporting proposals for new solutions that have a positive business impact

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 3+ years relevant work experience
- Experience managing or leading interactive web production for a large, global organization,
- Ability to manage teams and lead people that support multiple business units
- Solid knowledge of instructional design and web content development processes, including typical time and resources needed to produce work on time, at a high quality, and to specification
- Exceptional program-and project- management skills and experience with the ability to oversee multiple projects with varying timelines
- Comfortable working with ambiguity; ability to flourish in an environment of constant change
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, and impress effectively at all corporate levels
- Meticulous and passionate about the customer experience
- Understanding of base front-end development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, including familiarity with JavaScript frameworks
- Knowledge of modern web accessibility
- Experience developing web content delivered via Learning Management Systems
- Understanding of SCORM and Tin Can/xAPI learning standards and specifications
Preferred Qualifications
- BA or BFA in Multimedia, eLearning, Graphic Design, UX or Product Design or equivalent work experience; Master's degree in a related field a plus
- Experience with contact center training organizations
- Familiarity with cloud platforms
- Familiarity with UX research and design processes
- Experience with web audio and video
- Exposure to AI usage in web-development projects
