Apple's 3D Visual Merchandising (3DVM) team is responsible for the creative and tactical development of product presentation strategy and merchandising standards at Apple. The 3DVM Channel team is looking for a Visual Merchandiser to support this exciting work across Apple Channel Programs. Description
As a 3DVM Visual Merchandiser you will support the development of merchandising strategies for both Apple products and accessories that define the customer journey, reinforce brand messaging and drive sales. The Visual Merchandising (VM) Associate also works closely with the VM Manager and 3DVM designers to identify and develop product presentation tools and fixtures and to craft experiences that enhance customer engagement through storytelling and bespoke displays. DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Develop visual merchandising strategies for new product launches and seasonal initiatives in close partnership with 3DVM Creative Director, WW Product Marketing, WW Channel Sales, Planning and Operations and Marcom Brand and Cross Functional Teams - Provide expert knowledge of all of Apple lines of business and Channel routes-to-market to guide the design of product presentation tools, fixtures and environments - Develop and maintain global VM guidelines and product presentation guidelines and standards for Apple's Channel Programs - Partner with 3DVM Store Planning team to ensure accurate translation of VM strategy and priorities into branded Channel environments
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing visual merchandising strategy for a leading retailer or global brand
- BA/BS in a degree related to visual merchandising field
- Understanding of visual merchandising guidelines, brand standards and training documents and practice in crafting them
- Industry experience conceptualizing customer touch points through product story telling and displays
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas in a clear, concise and collaborative manner
- Ability to build and easily speak to the strategies behind and the benefits of strong visual merchandising
- Skilled in systematic thinking, with the ability to shift from high-level strategy to meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in an ambitious, fast-paced environment and cross-functional agility working with a variety of collaborators
- Skilled at developing creative solutions to ongoing business needs that drive sales and support the customer journey
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or other visualization software and proficiency in Mac OS
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,100 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
