From sports arenas to concert stages, the Videographer will be working with ground breaking, multi-camera systems to capture the energy and excitement of large-scale, one-time events. This individual will draw upon their past professional multi-camera experience, sideline sports, and/or remote news productions to innovate storytelling in non-traditional ways. They must be able to anticipate action, shoot with the eye of a documentarian, and be able to adapt to varied event conditions, including different lighting and environmental challenges. The Videographer must communicate effectively with event organizers and team members to ensure smooth productions that meets Apple's high standards. With unprecedented access to event locations, capture technology and production staff, the Videographer will collaborate inclusively with the entire production value chain from show prep to wrap and debrief, helping to bring the Director's vision to a global audience. Additional duties will include many aspects of production scouting, equipment maintenance and prep, writing technology performance feedback notes to the R&D teams, and assisting in post-event content quality assessments to help improve future shoots.

- Operate Advanced Video Equipment: Set up and use single and multi-camera systems, ensuring creative, high-quality video capture in fast-paced, dynamic environments - Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment issues on-site, adapting quickly to changing event conditions - Event Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with event organizers, production team members, and other partners to ensure smooth execution of shoots that meet creative and technical standards. - Pre- and Post-Production Tasks: Conduct site scouting, prepare and maintain equipment, write performance feedback notes, and assist in content reviews and quality assessments after events.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years experience working as a camera operator or videographer in broadcast-type, news, sports or ENG productions, requiring quick and creative setups using high-end professional camera technologies (Sony, Panasonic, ARRI, Canon, RED, etc). during high-tension, time-sensitive moments alongside producers, directors, and other team members
- Comfortability troubleshooting complex camera, audio and riggings issues in high-stakes production environments.
- Experience working with and navigating the complexities of venue access, security, and operations staff at large event venues, including tight crowded spaces.
- Experience working directly with field producers, directors, tech managers, etc.
- Proven track record of being able to anticipate where action/activity will unfold and find the best place to put the camera to capture it
- Experience working in international, metropolitan, and underdeveloped locations as key camera dept. staff. This role requires significant travel both domestically & internationally and will be physically demanding at all times. Onsite work is required when not traveling.
- Must be available to work weekends, odd hours or varying shifts when necessary to meet production deadlines in all kinds of weather conditions.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with non-standard types of photography technology.
- Familiarity with typical video and audio recording formats, and a working knowledge of organizational communication tools and media production tools.
- Well-versed in the operation of production equipment typically found in cinematic or broadcast environments including remote camera heads
- Comfortable maintaining equipment and traveling with gear on commercial air carriers.
- Extensive work with domestic and international rental equipment and shipping service providers.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,000 and $225,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
