As a US Government Sales Manager within our US Enterprise organization, you will have the opportunity to impact Apple's federal and state and local government business for many years to come. In this position, you will lead a team of individuals focused on developing and driving comprehensive go-to-market strategies, plans, and initiatives to grow business in the public sector segment. Through your influence, you will create solutions for customers and partners and help transform the way people work.

Description

In this role, you will: - Lead and develop a team of individuals and leaders responsible for building and driving Apple's worldwide go-to-market strategy for our US Government and public sector business. - Provide encouragement and support to team members to grow the segment, including communicating individual and team goals, identifying areas for mentoring and guidance, and delivering feedback. - Collaborate cross-functionally with a matrixed team of partners to coordinate use cases and sell-in plans for our public sector segment. - Identify new business opportunities that transform how companies innovate products and solutions to empower employees to do their best work and positively impact how to enrich the overall customer experience. - Refine, communicate, and innovate our strategy based on feedback from regional go-to-market teams and customers. - Ensure we have key solution partners identified and ready to deliver by collaborating openly with partner management teams. - Prioritize use cases and sales plays based on feedback and partner internally to ensure alignment on assets, programs, strategies, and initiatives for US Government.
  • 12+ years of sales, strategy, and/or business transformation experience; background maintaining relationships with partners and large scale customers in the government segment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience building, leading, and developing an inclusive team with performance management, coaching, and support
  • Deep understanding of the government market, including federal and State and Local Government.
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills, including the ability to influence cross-functionally, navigate partner organizational structures, and inspire a team and customers.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and business modeling skills with ability to transform data into actionable insights, business plans, and a long-term vision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading a remote/geographically dispersed team is a plus.
  • Ability to stay ahead of the competition by understanding how business financials work, and applying strategies for sustaining profitable growth.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $159,500 and $239,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
