The Channel Technical Service Engineer team at Apple works with our reseller and managed service partners to help ensure their ability to deliver on the promise of the Apple platform in Enterprise and have the resources and knowledge to meet our mutual customer's needs. We tackle technical and business problems with our partners to ensure success for both Apple and its customers. We provide both technical sales and service delivery consultations to ensure our partners are prepared to deliver best-in-class Apple practices and solutions for Enterprise customers at scale, with the goal of transforming the way people work. Travel is required up to 40%. This position is not limited to listed location.

Description

As an Apple Technical Services Engineer you will influence a team of trusted partners and their Technical Solutions Architects focused on driving Apple's ecosystem, business transformation and Apple platform integration into complex IT environments. We are accountable for the technical validity and interoperability of solutions with an understanding of customers' and partners pivotal initiatives. We deeply understand our customers' and partners businesses and technical ambitions. We help remove technical barriers and friction points, and improve customer readiness for our platform. We build new standard methodologies and share them. We are authorities - we consult on the most innovative and impactful solutions for business through the use of our platform and technologies. We build strategic plans with Apple's and our partner's sales, engineering, product marketing and quality teams. We lead complex architecture, development, and deployment conversations. At Apple, we obsess over how people experience our products and services. You will work with the Apple Solution and Service partners on the creation and delivery of solutions and services for customers that lead to their success with Apple platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

  • The best candidates will have strong Apple technical backgrounds with approximately 8 + years experience with the ability to educate and explain complex problems in simplified terms, tailored to their audience, at all levels of the business.
  • Experience enabling, building and working collaboratively with a strong group of technical partner Solutions Architects. Establish strong services partner relationships through enablement, advocacy, empathy and maintaining those relationships through close collaboration and communication.
  • IT Services Leadership and / or Services sales consultation multi-functional experience.
  • You have experience with evaluating complex IT enterprise environments (Deployment, Security, SSO, Zero Trust) and how to integrate Apple devices in those.
  • You can demonstrate and architect a best-in-class practice that deploys and manages Apple at scale in Enterprise.
  • You deeply understand our customers' and partners businesses and technical ambitions.
  • You ensure that our customers understand Apple's position on Security and Privacy and realize the benefits of security that is built in, not bolted on.
  • Candidate must be able to work well in collaborative environments to build, deliver, and communicate technical solutions that differentiate Apple Products and services for our customers and partners.
