We are looking for a curious, tech-savvy and hardworking individual to support the Featured Content Localization team, focused on promoting Apple Original and third-party content to our customers on the Apple TV app. This position is responsible for managing the localization of high quality in-app editorial copy and artwork, as well as coordinating with vendors, editorial, content programming, software engineering, and business teams around the world.

Description

As a TV App Featured Content Localization Producer, you will: Manage creative, editorially driven promotional copy and artwork associated with Apple Original and third-party content on the Apple TV app. Manage complex localization projects in 30+ languages. Ensure that projects are completed within required deadlines and maintain industry-leading standards of quality. Coordinate and build collaborative relationships with internal partners from the editorial, design, programming, engineering, and business teams, as well as with external linguistic vendors and project managers. Work with software engineers and engineering project managers who build the Apple TV app and Apple's proprietary localization toolset. Represent the team in meetings with cross-functional partners. Present to leadership and executives. Identify and communicate innovative solutions to streamline workflows and processes. Ultimately be both a project manager and an advocate for the international customer experience.
  • 3+ years experience in executing and managing large-scale localization projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of localization industry standards, methodologies, tools, and best practices. Knowledge of linguistic considerations such as cultural adaptation and ensuring contextually appropriate translations for each market.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners, such as translators, designers and writers, to ensure seamless localization production and product launches.
  • Excellent ability to identify priorities amongst competing projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and negotiate terms as needed.
  • Skilled in building relationships with partners, and leveraging those networks to execute projects or create change.
  • Able to anticipate blockers ahead, continuously driving improvements and efficiencies.
  • Deep understanding of cultural sensitivities and experience working with global teams.
  • Tech-savvy and able to dive into technical documentation and platform behaviors. Comfortable learning new and complex programs and tools.
  • Experience with development and user testing of localization or workflow-related software and tools.
  • Experience working with AI and machine-learning tools.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Linguistic expertise in another language other than English.
  • Experience working with Apple software, hardware and services.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,100 and $222,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
