Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Test quality and integrity of data collected for Apple Media products functioning as planned through understand of relevant technical concepts and end-user experience. Handle detailed testing and compiling analysis to ensure the products are functioning as planned and solve problems with limited definition, requiring collaboration with peers. Prepare and document test plans for entire team to utilize. Perform functional and regression tests using devices. Prioritize the most important bugs and differentiate what bugs need focus and determine appropriate support. Automate test cases via internal products and new utilities. Analyze, isolate bugs and write detailed bug report. Attend meetings with cross functional teams to understand requirements. Communicate results, status to different teams. Write and execute complex analytical SQL statements. Develop utilities for testing efficiencies. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,948 - $195,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Testing on iOS Devices, including capturing logs and automating manual tests
- Using SQL, including experience in server side validation
- Writing bug reports with necessary details
- Using Splunk, including validating metrics collected
- Using JSON, Big data, and Charles
- Experience in defect tracking system to create detailed and accurate bugs
- Performing software testing methodology, including execution of test plans and debugging
