Apple's IT Governance & Planning team is seeking a hands-on IT professional to drive Security, Privacy, and Compliance initiatives across Apple's IS&T organization. We have built a very special team that drives these initiatives and standards across various information technology functions, including core business applications such as Apple Online Store, Apple Retail Stores, AppleCare, HR systems, engineering systems, and many others. Description

This is a high-visibility role where you will be responsible for driving Security, Privacy, and Compliance initiatives with partners throughout the organization. You will establish standards and help drive automation to assess controls. You should be ready to lead and to drive projects, audits, and assessments, bring operational efficiencies, develop strong working relationships, and most importantly, be a teammate. Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience working directly on IT compliance audits (e.g., SOX, SOC reports, or Internal Audits, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree concentration in Technology, Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Big Four IT Audit experience
  • Strong Knowledge of, and prior experience with, common controls in: cloud platforms, systems development life cycle, computer operations, change management, networking, and security
  • Familiarity with public/private/hybrid cloud concepts (GCP, AWS, Azure), IaaS, PaaS and SaaS Services (compute, storage, network, security, administration, automation, databases) in either native cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
  • Understanding of key infrastructure including micro-services architectures, Git, code repositories, Kubernetes, CI/CD frameworks
  • Familiarity with risk frameworks and applicable risk governance regulations
  • Self-starter, critical thinking with strong project management capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate with and report to multiple partners, including information security teams, infrastructure teams, external and internal auditors, legal teams, and application engineering teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and demonstration of thought leadership
  • Ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels in the organization
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environments and crisis situations
  • Ability to consistently navigate through ambiguous situations and drive solution
  • Proven ability to work well on a team, as well as independently, with limited supervision
  • Knowledge of Perl, Python, and other scripting languages is a plus

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $205,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
