The Marcom Production Operations team (MPO) is a technically focused production service org which covers everything from device management and R&D to media operations and signal flow on productions. The teams behind these areas help to deliver world class productions across all business lines on technically complex projects with creative that pushes the limits on what is possible. We're seeking a team member that can work with us to deliver these projects with a focus on the customer experience while keeping a sense of curiosity and humbleness that continues to help the team innovate and grow. Marcom Technical Device Managers work within the MPO group and support video production and photography projects. They handle the devices being filmed for marketing and training purposes.

Description
Technical Device Managers support our producers and creatives and provide product expertise before, during and in post for productions. They know anything and everything about our Apple devices and larger ecosystem of services, and work with creatives on content that is used in launch videos, Apple Keynote events, guided tours, digital signage, and advertisements. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure released and unreleased products remain true to function - Act as a liaison between engineering, product marketing, branding, content and production - Work with creatives to prototype, load, and screen capture content on devices. - Manage devices in production environment (Video and Photo) - Prepare and test hardware and software ahead of a production - Partner with creative teams to ensure screens and content remain true - Handle logistics, project planning and meet security needs
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years in a technical or production role
- Experience in photo and video production
- Experience in networking and/or technical troubleshooting
- Experience with at least one of the following: Photoshop, Aftereffects and/or Final Cut
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong curiosity and dedication to ongoing learning and professional development
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive projects forward, even without a clear path
- Excellent customer focus, with a knack for building strong relationships to better understand and meet customer needs
- Outstanding problem solving skills, including an ability to solve complex technical challenges
- Deep expertise in Apple hardware and software products
- Experience using Terminal and Command Line
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Technical project management experience
- Prior experience as an Apple Lead Genius
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,100 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
