Description
We're looking for a motivated engineer with excellent programming, problem solving and communication skills. In this role, you will be working on design and development of systems software to help improve power and performance of Apple products. You would also be developing real-time mechanisms to detect/mitigate power issues. To be successful in this role, you must have a solid foundation in software design/architecture coupled with good systems software understanding and excellent debug/triage skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming in a systems language (e.g. C++, Objective-C, Swift, C)
- Great foundation in software design and architecture
- Proficient system level understanding

- Demonstrated innovative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to solve complex challenges
- Proficient system level understanding

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
