Description
In this highly visible and cross-functional role as a member of our hardware CAD team, you will be responsible for developing best in class methodologies and flows for Apple silicon. You will collaborate with multiple design teams to identify and implement automations in internal software evaluation, management, and deployment. This system will enable us to drive the quality of the chip, increase efficiency and QoR of our CAD flows.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in interpreted or scripting languages, such as Perl, Python, or TCL
- Knowledgeable in using version control systems, such as Git, Perforce
- Knowledgeable of software QA methodologies, including code review, regressions testing, and coverage analysis
- Experience in operating within an enterprise-scale Linux environment
- Ability to debug complex compute and license environments
- Minimum requirement of BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Perl scripting abilities
- Experience in integrating software into version control systems, such as Git, Perforce
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD methodologies, platforms, and tools
- Knowledgeable in Environment Modules system
- Knowledgeable in databases, such as MySQL, Redis, and PostGres
- Knowledgeable in distributed remote management systems, such as LSF, SGE, or NC
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
