These engineers build secure, end-to-end solutions. They develop the custom software used to process all the creative work, the tools that providers use to deliver that media, all the server-side systems, and the APIs for many Apple services. • Experience with designing and developing globally distributed resilient applications
• Experience producing with at least one JVM based language
• Experience with testing patterns for producing high quality code (unit/integration testing)
• Experience with DevOps tools, processes, and culture
• Experience supporting mission-critical and highly available systems
• BS/MS in Computer Science or Equivalent
• 6+ years of software development or production operations experience in a large-scale environment

• Experience with distributed systems
• Experience with both relational and no-sql databases
• Experience designing robust web APIs
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
