Description

As a Senior Writer on Marcom's Interactive team, you'll bring the story of our groundbreaking products, software, services, events, and values to life on apple.com and partner digital channels. You will brainstorm, ideate, and deliver under the guidance of an Associate Creative Director and in collaboration with other creative and technical disciplines. You will be the primary creative writer on medium to large sized projects and present the work to Creative Directors and cross-functional partners. You will follow the work from concept through production and delivery, ensuring it adheres to Apple standards of quality. You will help inspire the team while also being directly involved with the process. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Delivering high-quality headlines and body copy on assigned projects through multiple rounds of iteration and feedback. - Representing the voice of Apple globally across apple.com, marketing e-mails, Apple Retail stores, and Channel partners. - Writing outlines and partnering with content strategists and connections planners on messaging hierarchy and user journeys. - Working collaboratively with producers, art directors, designers, developers, and other writers to meet deadlines and deliver finished work. - Regularly presenting work to leadership, soliciting and implement creative and strategic feedback.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the digital marketing, advertising, in-house creative, or editorial industries.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates writing talent and strategic insight for a range of digital experiences including web, mobile, and/or app copy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly proficient at writing beautiful, benefit-led website copy that makes complex technologies seem amazingly simple.
  • Possesses an insatiable love for writing, with the utmost attention to detail and a keen awareness of the digital landscape and trends.
  • Strong communicator with exceptional presentation and diplomatic skills. Able to actively engage in healthy debate with stakeholders.
  • Track record of thriving in a challenging, fast-paced, creative workplace while delivering quality work at scale and on time.
  • Experience building trust with multi-disciplinary partners and collaborating well within a team environment.
  • Has provided thoughtful guidance to junior creative staff, with an eye on mentorship and development.
  • Diligent, flexible, resourceful, and independent with a strong work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Willing to take risks, fail, and learn from mistakes.
  • Strong understanding of data science and customer journey insights.
  • BA or BFA (or equivalent)

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $179,000 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
