As a part of Apple's Information Systems & Technology team, the Senior SAP Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for delivering three core departmental responsibilities: ERP-Centric Threat Prevention & Detection, Incident Response, and Digital Forensics. You are someone with authoritative level knowledge of ERP processes and Information Security principles and disciplines coupled with an appetite for risk discovery, critical thinking, and phenomenal communication skills.

Description
You will identify, research, and monitor notable events within the SAP environment, often addressing more complicated events independently or as a tier of escalation. You will research, document, and report on security issues and emerging threats and analyze related software, hardware, and processes to engineer appropriate risk response activities. You will document and share security information with a multitude of partners continuously building rapport and garnering support for enhanced security improvements. You will work closely with DevOps, Basis, Information Security, Internal Audit, and others to manage the risk profile of SAP data at Apple. You will build, test, implement, and validate upgrades to security management infrastructure components. You will perform various other cybersecurity tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Apple is seeking a self-starter, forward-thinking person with strong ERP security leadership capabilities. You will have the ability to communicate efficiently, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams. You will work multi-functionally with many other group's internal team to lead and deliver outstanding products in a multifaceted environment. You will drive innovation by analyzing and interpreting data to test and advise a new initiative or approach. You will be accountable for successful completion of multiple, individual projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Management of Information Systems
- 5 years of Information Security Experience overall
- 3 years of SAP Technical Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- GCIA, GCUX, GCIH, GREM, CFE, or other related certifications
- Knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP ECC, SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and other SAP services from a Technical as well as Business Process perspective.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $128,300 and $237,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
