Description
Develop actionable plans based on data insights to enhance operational efficiency. Review, educate and monitor ongoing cell performance to goals with subordinate teams. Compose and deliver presentations that convey concise messaging and clear proposals at all organization levels. Lead creative problem solving and troubleshooting activities for failures and other improvement opportunities Foster a culture of innovative thinking within the team. Collaborate with teams to formulate plans aimed at improvement in targeted areas. Implement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and team dynamics. Hire, develop, and inspire a team of leaders that are responsible for the daily operations. Focus on achieving key performance indicators in cost, productivity, quality, and equipment efficiency. Provide personnel development plans and constructive feedback on performance. Establish delegation and succession plans for team members to ensure a robust leadership pipeline. Drive team building efforts and encourage cross-functional collaboration to achieve daily operational objectives. Facilitate collaboration with customers and internal teams in order to achieve established lead time and quality goals. Lead diversity initiatives and promote inclusive behaviors across shop operations. Demonstrate the ability to develop and execute project plans that span departmental boundaries, ensuring accountability for deliverables through effective delegation and follow-up.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing teams is required. Direct experience in managing prototyping, machining, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in managing change within teams and in the development of other leaders using continuous improvement methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing preferred.
- Excellent communication skills are essential, capable of clearly articulating complex ideas in both written reports and verbal presentations.
- Should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-focused work environment and demonstrate a passion for dynamic challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Operations, Engineering or related fields
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in machining processes, including Mill, Lathe, EDM Sinker, and EDM Wire.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, Laser prototyping capabilities, and Metal additive manufacturing is beneficial.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $200,400 and $358,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
