Home Key, Hotel Key, Car Key, Disney Magic Mobile, Corporate Badges. - Identity: Wallet now supports US drivers licenses which can be used for travel at select airports as well as proving your age and identity within apps. - Provisioning: Making the Add to Wallet experience as seamless as possible for the most convenient and easiest way to move credentials from device to device and pay in stores, apps, and on the web. Our goals are simple but the task is large; build the most amazing products in the world that our customers will love!

Description

As an engineer on our team, responsibilities will range from collaborating on new insights and solutions to building user interfaces, writing background processing and networking code, to developing frameworks used by other teams at Apple and third party developers. You'll maintain and improve existing features, bringing life to new and innovative ideas for the future. Delivery of the best possible application performance including fast launch times, fluid animations and low power use, will also be part of your day to day. You'll also work closely with internal partners like other iOS, macOS, and watchOS Framework Engineering Teams, Human Interface Designers, the Privacy Engineering team and the Server Engineering team. As well as directly with our external partners as we work together on new features. Wallet is positioned at the axis of multiple teams with opportunity to code while being an active participant in shaping the user experience and overall product.   • Experience developing with Objective-C and or Swift on iOS.
  • Deep understanding of modern software development methodologies, architecture, and design
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Passion for product quality and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS Computer Science or Equivalent Education
  • macOS and watchOS programming experience
  • User-interface programming experience

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
