The Content Design team conceptualizes, designs and creates the content experience for some of Apple's most visible products. Apple TV Content Design is looking for a senior creative that can impact the way people consume media on our products and how they're used by millions of people across the world. In this role, you will define, champion, and implement a vision for content features while driving engagement and retention for TV+ subscribers. You will collaborate with cross-functional colleagues across design, editorial, data science, business, and engineering to drive measurable outcomes. We are seeking a seasoned leader with deep expertise who can work in a highly dynamic environment. You can quickly understand and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, tell compelling data stories, and be a relentless voice of the customer.

Description

- Design lead of content features for the Apple TV app for TV, Movies and Sports content. - Drive an innovative vision for our content and media experiences and ideas about how to connect users with content that matters to them. - Conceptualizing and design how product creative can most effectively drive business goals. - Elevate customer delight and engagement by creating a more simple, more effortless TV viewing experience - Build consensus with several cross-functional teams around both a long-term vision and short-term features that show measurable outcomes - Partner with data science teams and align with business and editorial teams to set common metrics for success - Write clear and concise product and experience requirements that capture the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features - Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features, validating with internal betas and AB tests

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of design experience
  • Experience with the full product lifecycle, from vision and requirements to build, launch, analysis and iteration
  • Experience designing for a variety of platforms and use cases, and is used to thinking how those impact myriad devices, experiences and scenarios
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify while keeping clarity
  • Ability to independently create and deliver winning presentations and align diverse partners to a shared vision
  • Expertise with product analytics, customer insights, and data storytelling
  • Fluency with designing for testing that drives feature validation and evolution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with tv streaming consumption patterns that drive subscription and retention.
  • Ability to engage our viewers by infusing our platform with the culture of tv/entertainment/sport.
  • Have an advanced understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across platforms and audiences
  • Ability to thrive and drive decisions in a debate-focused environment
  • Capacity to do the right thing for customers while still meeting business goals
  • Demonstrate strong user experience sensibilities with an uncanny level of curiosity
  • Have a passion for collaborating with other creatives, and can use that rapport to align others around their vision
  • Knowledge of the competitive set and curiosity around evolving consumer trends
  • Prior work experience or strong interest in digital media, sports and/or entertainment
  • Experience working on digital products with a global footprint
  • Has passion about the Apple brand and relentless in preserving its authenticity

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $191,300 and $287,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
