Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. The Special Projects Digital Experience Strategist will play a key role in driving one of Apple Retail's most exciting growth opportunities, that harnesses the power of generative AI to offer new personalized experiences for our visitors. This will include supporting the expansion of e-commerce tools to new platforms and countries. As you help Apple Retail meet changing consumer expectations around emerging technologies, you will develop strong cross-functional relationships, supporting operational teams with key business inputs and perspective, and confidently communicating updates with a storytelling lens to senior leadership.

Description

As we bring new AI-powered experiences to life, you will ensure a customer experience lens and help oversee end-to-end planning, program management, and optimization. From assessing industry trends to analyzing data and consumer insights, you will identify, explore, and pursue new business opportunities, playing an integral role throughout the full development and execution cycle of new features and projects, such as reviewing designs and measuring impact. Provide feedback on new solutions and designs in large cross-functional forums with a deep focus on customer experience and business priorities. Identify data-driven insights and synthesize conclusions into actionable recommendations, to influence digital commerce strategies and initiatives from conception and ideation through prototyping and testing. Drive the on-time execution of key discovery and planning activities to support launch dependencies, while leading key business decisions and tracking backlogged priorities to influence roadmap planning. Author and present detailed strategic briefs and presentations to inform cross functional partners of business priorities, opportunities, and performance. Conduct research on market & competitor trends and analyze consumer behavior and internal performance to drive optimization, expansion, and business case development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience, with at least 1 year in an e-commerce, strategy, customer experience, and/or AI-related role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on at least one significant customer-facing generative AI experience or tool that drove tangible results.
  • Experience in, knowledge of, and passion for technology trends such as AI, as well as the global retail and/or e-commerce B2C industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a curiosity to uncover root causes in order to identify clear takeaways, make data-driven decisions, and develop strategies.
  • Experienced building collaborative bridges and fostering relationships with cross functional and global teams, in addition to flexibly adapting to feedback.
  • Track record of proactively problem solving amidst ambiguity with a bias for action, while being resourceful and maintaining close attention to details.
  • Good verbal and written communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, including proficiency in Keynote, PowerPoint, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates Apple's values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities, helping create an environment by respecting differences and having a curiosity to learn.
