The Financing and Retail Systems (FRS) Quality Engineering team is looking for a motivated individual to join our talented team and bring a fresh perspective to functional testing and release management. You will work closely with our automation team in sharing test scenarios and ensuring maximum testing coverage to reduce regression risk. In larger cross-functional testing initiatives, you will represent the Financing and Retail Systems as a test lead and ensure our systems are ready when integration testing begins with our partner systems.

Description
As a Software Quality Engineer for Financing and Retail Systems (FRS), you will be responsible for ensuring the iOS and web applications we build, which are used in Apple Retail Stores and by Business Partners worldwide, are bug-free and provide the means to support our customers effectively. You will review business requirements and technical documentation to develop test plans and work cross-functionally with other teams across IS&T and Retail to ensure we are delivering a high quality product.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in software QA and/or Retail processes with mobile and web applications
- Bachelors degree in technical field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and QA terminology
- Previous experience with test planning, writing, assessing and communicating risk based on issues identified
- Has the ability to think through problems with the user experience in mind
- Able to communicate clearly to a diverse audience
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a highly cross-functional organization
- Able to make decisions on-the-fly and pivot, as needed
- Knowledge of quality and project management systems and tools
- Ability to manage a small team of testers to ensure you meet all test deliverables on
- Detail oriented, analytical, and creative problem solver with passion for quality processes
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,900 and $234,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
