Description

As the Mail Intelligence Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers dedicated to bringing intelligence to Apple Mail across our platforms. Your leadership will guide the development of features that leverage machine learning to create a smarter, more intuitive Mail experience. You will collaborate with teams across Apple to integrate Apple Intelligence, enhance Mail Search, and pioneer new capabilities in the app. This role requires both hands-on technical management and strategic vision to push the boundaries of what the Mail app can do: - Lead and mentor the Mail Intelligence engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including machine learning, project management, and design, to define and implement intelligent features. - Oversee the integration of new technologies into the Mail app, driving improvements in areas like search, generative features, summarization, and categorization.. - Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of the backend systems that power these intelligent features. - Represent the Mail Intelligence team in technical and project meetings, driving alignment with broader Apple initiatives.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
