Description
In this role, you will architect and build innovative solutions and features for Apple Cash. Job duties includes: - Write bullet-proof Java code (thread-safe, performant, object-oriented, and inherently testable) - Engage with internal stakeholders including product, fraud, security, legal, compliance, privacy and operations to understand their needs and requirements - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature definition and development - Work with external partners and vendors to ensure quality deliverables
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with object-oriented analysis and design with languages like Java
- Experience in client-server development, API design and implementation
- Experience with Relational and NoSQL Databases
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent field plus minimum 3 years of software development experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building high availability, high volume, distributed web applications and services
- Good understanding of cloud technologies, tools and frameworks
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
