Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Drive design data quality and algorithm performance to develop Apple's next generation of Health and Fitness features. Evaluate large user study datasets, design reviews, algorithm testing, bug reporting, and triaging. Challenge the design and implementation of algorithms. Design and perform analytics for algorithm verification and validation. Create automated monitoring and quality assurance metrics to constantly track feature performance. Profile, process, and evaluate large structured and unstructured datasets. Participate and present in user study review, code review, and data review. Communicate with upstream (hardware) and downstream (application) stakeholders to drive end-to-end user experience of the feature. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Bio Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Using databases including SQL and NoSQL to filter and select appropriate data in a large dataset
- Using statistical concept to analyze scientific studies
- Using data visualization tools to analyze large scale scientific data
- Utilizing Git to track SW changes
- Utilizing distributed computed system to scale simulations on large data
- Debugging programs and creating standard operating procedures for data collection, management and analysis
- ETL: Developing and testing data pipelines and validation protocols to ingest and process data
