Apple's Portal Platforms Group (PPG) builds some of the most important and widely used web experiences at the company. We are looking for a senior-level Software Engineer to help us further extend the rich capabilities of our Drupal platform. As a member of our team, your work will play a significant role in shaping critical applications used by tens of thousands of users at Apple every day.
Description
Develop and maintain highly reliable and usable web experiences used by all of Apple. Engage in a culture of sharing and collaboration across complex cross-functional teams. Deeply understand product requirements, partner with team members and customers to define solutions, and estimate the scope of work required. Collaborate with, mentor, and influence members within your team and across other teams at Apple.

Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in Drupal 9+, including custom module and plugin development using configuration management, entities and dependency injection.
- 2+ years experience in Drupal internals, Drupal performance tuning, data structures such as Drupal's entity system.
- 2+ years experience with Drupal's templating and rendering system, including the render pipeline and cache API.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Drupal 9+, including custom module and plugin development using configuration management, entities and dependency injection.
- Deep knowledge of Drupal internals, Drupal performance tuning, data structures such as Drupal's entity system.
- Proficiency with Drupal's templating and rendering system, including the render pipeline and cache API.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Strong object-oriented programming and design skills.
- Experience with DevOps, particularly with cloud-based infrastructures.
- Experience with Drupal 7 development a major plus.
