As a Site Reliability Engineering manager, you will be leading a team responsible for providing the platform for mission-critical cloud systems to maintain constant uptime, scale seamlessly, and allow for new applications and services to flourish. The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated with a passion for excellence, quality and detail. The SRE Manager will support operations, collaborate with the developers and architects to aid in the design; and assist with the implementation to improve stability, security, and scalability.

- Passion for automation and reluctance for manual implementation
- Strong philosophy of continuous improvement
- Strong sense of ownership wanting to understand how things work and resolve root causes
- Ability to encourage and foster a culture of visibility and transparency across teams
- Experience managing enterprise services in a large-scale nix environment
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Puppet, Chef or Ansible
- Able to troubleshoot issues across the entire software stack
- Experience operating large-scale multi-tenant infrastructure as a managed service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Education & Experience
Technical (Engineering or Computer Science) BS/MS degree or equivalent work experience

- Experience managing, scaling, and troubleshooting Java and GoLang applications
- Bonus: CNCF Kubernetes Administration certification
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,000 and $313,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
