We have an extraordinary opportunity for senior level engineers to drive and lead technical engagements between Apple and silicon suppliers working on groundbreaking technologies. We are looking for a remarkable silicon validation engineer with experience in characterization and validation of mixed signal embedded circuits to work with multi-functional teams and external vendors to define, develop and productize the next generation of custom silicon. This position focuses specifically on silicon validation of a variety of custom silicon solutions including sensors, display drivers, audio drivers, power and connectivity IC's.

Description
As a Silicon Validation Lead owning the specification and verification of sensor analog performance and many aspects of sensor interfaces, you will be: - Collaborating with global sensor suppliers to develop and evaluate silicon validation plans - Collaborate with silicon design teams in analyzing silicon architectures and corresponding validations plans - Own & guide the silicon validation methodology and flows across our vendors and internal partners - Partner with Firmware teams and provide feedback on silicon validation desired FW features and priorities - Detailing and presenting your results to both internal and external engineering teams - Working with collaborators to assure that sufficient and accurate validation/testing is implemented at all stages to guarantee performance - Lead and track silicon validation progress and quality. - Support vendor and internal ATE and Product Engineering teams
- BS Degree and 10 years of experience
- Experience in crafting and analysis of silicon validation plans
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to use standard ASIC Design and validation tools
- Understanding of modern design validation techniques in mixed signal environments
- Multi-disciplinary understand of EE, CE, and Physics principles
- Ability to work closely with others in a very multi-functional team environment
- Ability to drive, influence and lead technical engagements
- Ability to detail and present your results across collaborators
- Ability to define silicon validation methodologies
- Ability to build and lead silicon validation teams
- MSEE or PhD
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $200,400 and $358,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
