Apple is looking for an exceptional senior editor and content leader to join our global Retail Engagement and Marketing team, conceiving and overseeing the development of high-quality creative work that inspires, empowers, and educates a Retail team of more than 70,000 worldwide.

Description

In this role, you will be a crucial part of the editorial team in charge of Retail engagement across multiple platforms. You will help ensure the flawless ideation, development, and execution of world-class campaigns and programs - from storytelling, tone of voice, and editorial planning to innovative experiences and opportunities for learning and development for our Retail team. You will work with teams of writers, designers, videographers, producers, and strategists to create content, communications, and experiences driving Retail engagement worldwide - including multimedia campaigns and programs, print collateral and guides, live events, digital broadcasts, social media and interactive experiences. As our ideal candidate, you are a leading creative force and a vital teammate. You also have a richly global mentality, a broad cultural awareness and a sharp understanding of news, trends and entertainment media across multiple markets.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in developing creative concepts and content from ideas to execution for a variety of campaigns and media, including events, collateral, promotional materials, social, and digital.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strategic insight and editorial talent through journalism pieces, digital brand campaigns, advertising content, or experiential events across various formats, e.g. written, audio, video or VR/AR/XR.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of Editorial experience in cross-platform content strategy, creative writing and communications for major media companies, marketing & advertising agencies, and retail businesses.
  • Experience guiding and mentoring copywriters and content creators on projects ranging from internal communications copy, event programming and learning experiences, to video scripts and digital assets.
  • Proven record driving collaboration and influencing decisions by building positive relationships.
  • Experience working with international teams across various Geos to ensure the delivery of globally relevant and locally-attuned work.
  • Ability to confidently articulate concepts and present work to senior leaders and executives, strategic partners via clear, compelling storytelling.
  • Demonstrated experience and/or interest in emerging technologies, including ML/AI and VR/XR.
  • Experience working with UX designers and platform leads to develop content outlines and future-proof platform enhancements.
  • Strong project management experience, with the ability to drive multiple priorities simultaneously on deadline and within budget.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $179,000 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
