Description

We are looking for a leader for the centralized department function that provides quality process, technology and mentorship to Apple Services Engineering. The leader will be proficient in services, OS and client technologies, to collaborate and scale testing functions from development to quality assurance roles. This role is also required to lead a testing tools and frameworks development team that supports division efforts with an interdependent ecosystem of Media and Cloud products. This position will require someone with a firm understanding of change management, along with the strong ability to develop organizational wide communications.
  • Deeply familiar and experience with a variety of Software lifecycles with the ability to adapt to variety of delivery styles.
  • Must have strong experience in leading all aspects of a test development team in maintaining test frameworks and tools to help achieve organizational quality goals.
  • Strong background in designing and architecting automation solutions that enable a shared accountability in quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, influence, thought leadership skills, and the ability to build and partner with other technology dev and test teams across Apple.
  • Experience establishing a culture that continuously strives towards best practices, measurable outcomes, and operational excellence.
  • Strong communications background with the ability to deliver a communication framework and influence teams to adapt to a standardized set of KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through people and across an organization, building relationships, collaborating with and influencing multi-functional peer teams.
  • Ability to plan and direct both service and client automation and partner with other teams to achieve strategic automation goals.
  • Demonstrated success hiring, developing and building an inclusive team-based culture. Strong knowledge of retail industry trends, technologies, and standard processes.
  • 5-10 years of experience managing multiple quality teams.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $252,400 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
