As a Senior Program Manager within the Worldwide Business Process Engineering organization, you will work with a globally dispersed cross-functional team to conduct root cause and alternatives analysis to add new supply chain capability, drive process optimization, increased scale & efficiency, and minimize cost. You will prepare appropriate documentation including current state, value stream mapping, scenario & sensitivity testing, financial analysis, and business case development. You will oversee all aspects of project information including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, scope and definition, and provide oversight of a global portfolio of projects.

You will have the ability to find opportunities and lead business process re-engineering efforts. You will also be responsible for leading medium to large size, global cross- functional projects, build and roll-out innovative technology and business process solutions that increase efficiencies, improve customer satisfaction, build customer loyalty, and drive revenue. This position requires you to work with senior management and global teams to define processes and system roadmaps and drive improvements of the organization. This effort is directly linked to our commercial strategy and needs to be forward-looking. This may include: • Understanding future strategies and directions to anticipate needs • Building Internal and external expertise driving best practice and innovation • Situation analysis and audit of current organization / process / data and systems • Gap analysis of As-Is vs. To-Be • Proposing and driving new solutions that may be implemented WW or addressing local processes • Develop metrics such as customer satisfaction, user acceptance, business impact, e.g. Apply analytical skills to help rationalize and inspire change. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Gather and synthesize detailed, global business requirements and design specifications. 2. Assess current processes. Develop and implement future business processes. 3. Serve as liaison to Operation teams to develop technology systems solutions (requirements, user testing, etc.) to support WW SOS initiatives. 4. Partners with key cross-functional partners to solicit customer and associate feedback to identify initiative improvement opportunities for implementation 5. Act as a liaison between the business teams and IS&T (Information Systems and Technology) to ensure that the business requirements are complete and met by the proposed technology solutions. 6. Drive the design, development, implementation and management of solutions for Customers. 7. Work with business leads to define and manage business process and technology roadmaps in support of long-term divisional strategies. 8. Implement new ideas effectively within the Apple culture. Influence decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership, and a customer-focused approach. 9. Provide functional subject matter expertise. 10. Manage complex projects to major milestones. Develop project justification proposals, business cases and return on investment estimates; obtain executive approval and funding. 11. Develop and maintain key project governance documentation to ensure the proper amount of structure is applied to enable project success. 12. Facilitate project related testing, roll-out, and post-mortem work. 13. Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to project, management, and senior executive teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required in Supply Chain, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years broad supply chain management exposure with expertise in a specific area to include
- logistics, fulfillment, transportation, global trade compliance, procurement or supply
- chain operations
- Experience driving supply chain process improvement / Kaizen, quality Six Sigma, and
- Lean efforts
- Experience planning, managing, and delivering medium (6-8 month) to large (8-
- 12+month) projects, including Brainstorming and requirements gathering.
- Proficient knowledge of systems implementation and development life cycles, including business process flow diagramming.
- Literacy with process modeling tools, MS Excel, and basic project planning tools
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA is desired
- Proficient at leading multiple efforts simultaneously in a global company
- Proven ability to handle complexity, deadlines, and meet cost constraints
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across project and management teams
- Ability to lead and enhance project team effectiveness
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $171,900 and $258,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
