Description
- Lead and support equipment engineering activities, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of complex systems. - Apply deep expertise in vacuum systems, RF power delivery, and associated subsystems to support production, R&D, or customer environments. - Serve as a technical mentor and resource for engineers and technicians, helping to build a strong, capable equipment team. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on equipment upgrades, process support, and root cause investigations. - Drive and support equipment safety programs, ensuring procedures, training, and operations meet all compliance and regulatory requirements. - Document and communicate technical findings, best practices, and project progress clearly and consistently
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in equipment engineering or technical support roles, with knowledge of vacuum and RF-based systems
- Background in industries such as semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, R&D, capital equipment, or related fields
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and lead by example
- Experience mentoring or managing technical personnel, with a passion for team development
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and process-related systems
- Commitment to safety-first thinking and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with a variety of process or manufacturing equipment
- Experience working as both an equipment provider and end user
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $151,200 and $268,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
