Description
Does new technology, and the legal issues it can present, excite you? Do you like building strong client relationships and working on cross-functional teams? In this role you will be responsible for supporting and advising Apple's engineering, product marketing, and operations teams on a wide variety of matters related to Apple products, including hardware, feature, and technology development, regulatory proposals and compliance, licensing and related deal work, complex manufacturing and supply agreements, and intellectual property. You will work as a member of the broader legal team supporting Apple's products and regulatory work. We are looking for someone like you to help uphold Apple's high ethical and corporate standards, defend our intellectual property and provide the critical legal support needed for Apple's products and businesses. Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of legal experience at a technology company or a leading law firm
- Experience advising on issues related to product counseling, consumer law, product regulatory investigations, as well as advising on intellectual property issues
- Experience structuring, negotiating, or analyzing agreements for a wide variety of technology transactions and complex manufacturing and supply agreements
- Experience analyzing and developing global compliance strategies for new regulations
- JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
Preferred Qualifications
- Creative problem-solver who can drive projects and analyze and help resolve complex issues in innovative and practical ways
- Ability to lead, take action, and provide direction in the face of ambiguity
- Ability to advise senior executives on complex and nuanced legal issues
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple wide-ranging matters, inquiries, and requests, supporting multiple cross-functional teams
- In-house experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $221,600 and $333,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
