This is an opportunity to join the Apple Engineering Finance team as a Sr. Financial Analyst focusing on Cloud Infrastructure to support our dynamic Software Engineering team. Our team is responsible for partnering driving the team's forecast, annual plan, consolidation, and quarter-end close activities in parallel to providing critical analysis to support the company's product roadmap and technology development decisions. Engineering Finance prepares, tracks, and evaluates performance metrics, provides business and financial analysis in addition to forecasting, reporting, and providing best-in-class business support to the Apple Engineering organization.

Description

- Partner with Software engineering leaders to build, manage and optimize cloud infrastructure forecasting and planning - Implement and drive internal cloud infrastructure budgeting and capacity approvals across key business stakeholders - Establish quarterly reporting for business leadership including SVPs on economic analysis and cost models - Provide ad hoc financial support and broad collaboration with multiple teams across Apple, including: Infrastructure Finance, SW Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure Business Operations, Corporate FP&A - Understand key drivers affecting the above processes and anticipate their effects on our processes, deliverables, and results as drivers change.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant work experience managing cloud infrastructure
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong background in managing cloud infrastructure resources (CPUs / GPUs) showing aptitude for understanding complex financial structures and translating into meaningful business drivers.
  • Established experience performing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis along with a track record of strong modeling with an emphasis in cloud Infrastructure
  • Outstanding attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision in analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work with high level of ambiguity and complexity
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record with collaborating across diverse teams
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for clearly presenting findings to key partners
  • Demonstrated ability to automate and improve processes

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
