As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead our team of Data and Machine Learning (ML) Solution Architects. As the Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing our vision for the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ML technologies across Apple.

Description

In this role, you will define the vision and strategy, and lead the execution of innovative solutions for internal customers that leverage our platform capabilities, across Apple. TEAM LEADERSHIP: - Lead and mentor a team of Data and ML Solution Architects, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. - Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team. TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP: - Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design and implementation of AI/ML solutions. - Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML, driving innovation and continuous improvement. CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT: - Work closely with internal stakeholders and business units to understand their needs and requirements related to AI/ML. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored AI/ML solutions that address specific business challenges and opportunities. ADOPTION AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT: - Drive the adoption of AI/ML technologies and methodologies across the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. - Develop and implement strategies for change management, training, and communication to facilitate the successful adoption of AI/ML initiatives. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of AI/ML initiatives. - Monitor and analyze performance data, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing team(s) with data and ML expertise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels across Apple.
  • Experience working with distributed data processing.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent understanding of data technologies, tools and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data engineering, and data science concepts.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, driving business results through technology innovation.
  • Solid project management skills: Prioritization, communicating across team/org boundaries
  • Experience recruiting for your team: Predicting staffing needs, designing interview loops, evaluating candidates and closing them.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $210,900 and $364,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
