We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging and inspiring marketing experiences. We are looking for a Senior Designer to join the Marcom Design Team, working specifically on the Screens Design Team. Screens are a focal point for many Apple devices. In art direction across Apple products, screen content is key in showing the incredible things our devices can do.

The Senior Designer is an integral member of the creative team responsible for designing and supporting the identities for Apple's products, events and future consumer experiences. You will contribute to all projects from initial blue sky ideation through final implementation of production. You will craft clear, inspiring, and alluring on-device storytelling for our products. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Crafting innovative and inspiring campaigns that align with creative briefings, while collaborating with partners and mentoring junior creatives. - Animation, design, and illustration experience are core to the role, with experience both presenting ideas and working closely with production from concept through delivery. - Taking direction from project Art Directors and Creative Directors, responding swiftly to new information, and pivoting strategically when needed. - Conveying a strong point of view on design solutions through innovative thinking. - Driving workflows across multiple team members including Human Interface Design, Interactive Design, Brand and Production teams - Collaborating closely with vendors by providing art direction, guidance, and feedback. - Possessing an eye for aesthetic and creating a powerful story through the work. - Working as part of a dedicated team, focused on excellent design in accordance with project constraints and parameters.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience building brand identities and campaigns
  • A portfolio exhibiting a thorough grasp of design principles, animation principles, motion theory, typography and visual communication
  • Experience with design/animation software, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite
  • BA/BFA degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or other related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • You are naturally curious and have an awareness toward the evolving landscape of available tools, technologies, resources, and trends.
  • You are well apt in traditional graphic design, branding, photography, CGI and art direction as it pertains to print, digital, and motion.
  • Outstanding conceptual design and sound organizational skills
  • Dynamic communication style, capable of real-time creative problem-solving that promotes collaboration
  • Knowledgeable about the latest Apple OS systems, Apple Software programs, and UI elements, along with the apps and other inspiration to keep content fresh
  • Ability to cut through ambiguity and find the path forward, despite uncertainty or challenges

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,100 and $173,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
