Description
Design, develop and maintain robust pipelines to support various LOBs analytics needs in multi-petabyte cloud environment. Perform in-depth analysis on our Analytics platform to help solve hard business questions. Developing maintain data models and architecture to support analytics reporting. Work side by side with exceptional people that run, optimize and scale our environment and help to tell meaningful stories with data. Stay current with latest trends and technologies in data analytics, and cloud computing Perform complex data analytics in new and innovative ways and leveraging your creativity to go beyond current tools to deliver amazing solutions. Work with high degree of independence, but supported by a broad technical team.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with data analytics in large scale volumes in Cloud environment AWS and GCP.
- Experience with Spark, SQL, Trino and Big Data systems and tools
- Programming skills in Scala, Java, Python, or similar languages
- Experience with Iceberg and high performant queries on S3
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work with various cross functional teams to gather input and provide guidance
- Ability to present information to peers and senior management
- Ability to bring creative, simple and logical approaches to complex problems
- Technical minded with the aptitude to learn new technologies
- Excellent problem solving and communication (verbal/written) skills
- Ability to tell meaningful stories with data
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, and BigTable
- Bachelors in technical field (math, statistics, engineering, computer science, analytics, or similar)
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $187,000 and $280,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
