Description
As a Senior Bluetooth Standards Architect, you will lead Bluetooth system requirements, architecture, and design, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate key Bluetooth features into our products. You will represent the company in Bluetooth SIG and other standards bodies to advance strategic interests. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: - Lead Bluetooth SIG initiatives, define technical requirements, and drive internal solutions. - Guide internal teams on Bluetooth software and hardware development to deliver best-in-class solutions. - Serve as an SME in the architecture, design and integration phases, overseeing complex feature integrations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high-quality features in our products. - Conduct design and feature reviews with development teams and resolve technical challenges raised by them. - Accelerate ecosystem development for new features by applying your Bluetooth knowledge to new use cases in Apple products.
Minimum Qualifications
- In depth understanding of Bluetooth 4.0, 5.0, 6.0 and new key features under development in Bluetooth SIG
- In depth understanding on Bluetooth stack from controller to host through HCI to support current development and future specification development
- In depth understanding of Bluetooth certification testing, requirements and policies
- Experience in defining detailed feature requirements, writing specifications and design documents, and test cases
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience with enabling on-device co-existence between Bluetooth and other wireless technologies
- Drives results as an active contributor in standard organizations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, manage risks, evaluate tradeoffs and maneuver in complex situation to move things forward
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
