We're looking for a Sr Analyst to join the Strategy & Planning team and contribute to our mission of scaling Wallet and Apple Pay into new and exciting markets, establishing organizationally effective practices and removing obstacles. The primary responsibility of this role will be assisting in development of the annual and quarterly operating plans with a focus on budget and headcount resourcing. This is a chance to put your own slant on things, show creativity around the financial metrics to track performance and to report to Wallet and Payments leadership team.

Description

Apple is seeking a highly proficient Financial Analyst to support the Wallet & Payments Strategy organization. This role will be responsible for finance-related activities including managing and forecasting operation expenses requiring a deep understanding of business as well as positive relationships with key partners. Responsibilities include reconciling multiple data universes, identifying discrepancies, managing solutions, supporting other critical deliverables including quarter-end deep-dive analytics. This role will also collaborate cross-functionally across a globally distributed group to meet the data needs of the business and translate those needs into analytical requirements.
  • 6yrs of experience working as a data/business analyst or related role
  • Proficient with SQL, big data systems and tools and Tableau dashboard design, development and publishing
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong financial competence; FP&A experience, Advanced Excel, SAP
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and see the 'bigger picture'
  • Critical thinking: able to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work with ambiguity and uncertainty

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,100 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
