Description
We develop relationships with Small and Medium sized Businesses (SMB) to transform the way people work and experience our products and services. The role requires leading strategic account management and delivering on plans through your sales team with a goal of growing Apple's share in the SMB space. To realize this goal, we build strategic engagements plans, develop team sales strategies - at all levels from tactical to strategic. We ensure that Apple services, product knowledge and offerings are implemented to the highest standard. We collaborate to create plans that scale the business and adoption of the Apple ecosystem through partnerships with peers and leadership. This leader will build, develop, implement and manage a structured sales team to align to Apple's strategies with an outcome to increase customer growth and retention. You will inspire and influence your team through engagement and leadership to drive performance, sales and team culture. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Craft and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets, focusing on expanding Apple's SMB customer base and deepening engagement with existing relationships. - Inspire and Drive solution-based selling, relationship management, and ecosystem expansion to optimize customer retention and grow revenue. - Tailor sales strategies to resonate with customers across various segments, whether in Retail, B2B, or Contact Center environments. - Inspire and guide your sales team, creating a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning. - Provide mentorship and coaching to team members to enhance their selling techniques, relationship-building abilities, and overall effectiveness. - Foster collaboration and encourage sharing of standard methodologies across teams and partners. - Continuous monitoring and assessment key performance indicators to evaluate both individual and team success. - Offer consistent recognition to celebrate achievements and reinforce positive behaviors. - Identify areas for improvement and implement timely coaching, ensuring that all team members are aligned with overall sales goals. - You empower others to learn, to be curious and ultimately, share your passion for the Apple story all while doing their best work.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience motivating direct reports and developing sales teams, with a successful performance history of delivering results aligned with organization goals.
- 5+ years of experience leading SMB inside sales environments in teams/markets, with a demonstrated track record driving customer retention and growing customer spend.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proven ability to clearly articulate strategy, providing constructive observations, and addressing team needs and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Proven ability to build rapport and lead others effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in developing individuals to meet goals in a performance based setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data and using insights to make strategic decisions and drive team performance.
- Proficiency with sales tools and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, with proven ability to use technology to streamline team workflows.
- Experience working within a complex organizational structure, with the ability to effectively collaborate with peers and partners across various functional departments.
- Self starter with a proven track record of delivering high impact results.
- BA/BS degree, MBA a plus.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,200 and $242,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
